Emma Fennelly

Associate

Emma Fennelly is an associate in the firm's Atlanta office. Ms. Fennelly devotes her practice to construction, professional liability, surety, fidelity, and other complex commercial litigation. She represents individuals and companies in a wide array of complex commercial claims, construction defect cases, payment disputes, and public contracts. Similarly, her experience includes counseling contractors, engineers, architects, and other professionals through the dispute resolution process. Prior to joining the firm, Emma spent several years practicing with a national defense litigation firm, focusing on product defects and professional liability, and representing clients from large corporations to individual persons.

Emma graduated cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law, where she was a graduate research assistant in the College’s legal services clinic, serving the Atlanta community with legal assistance in housing disputes, social security income appeals, and other legal matters that affect under-resourced communities in the area. During her time in the clinic, Emma briefed, argued, and won a social security disability income appeal. In her final year of law school, she was a teaching assistant for the school’s trial advocacy program, where she counseled students through their mock trials.

Ms. Fennelly earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Georgia where she graduated cum laude in 2017.
